Hundreds of Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to social media to thank Owls chairman Milan Mandaric following news of the takeover agreement with Thai investor Dejphon Chansiri that broke yesterday afternoon.
Within minutes of the news breaking via the club’s official website and Wednesday’s Twitter and Facebook accounts, thousands of supporters shared and retweeted the post.
Fans then took to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and supporters forums to show their appreciation to the SWFC chairman for the work he has done for the club.
Using the hashtag, ‘#Xbanamilan’, which means ‘thank you Milan’ in Serbian, hundreds of fans tweeted their messages of gratitude to the chairman.
