Young footballers are being encouraged to sign up to the Sheffield Wednesday Summer Soccer Camps and sessions held during this year’s summer break.
Ran by the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme, the camps start running from Monday 20 July to Friday 28 August. The youngsters will be provided with expert coaching by fully qualified staff from the Community Programme.
The camps are a great way to introduce children to playing football and the sessions create a pathway to progress onto higher levels of play. The Soccer Camps cater for boys and girls aged five – 14 and are structured to develop skills, technique and standard of play.
The Community Programme are hosting soccer tots sessions at Wisewood Sports Centre for 3 – 4 year olds as well as Soccer Camps for older children at Hillsborough Sports Arena and Retford Oaks High School.
