Young people wanted for NCS programme

15 July 2015

The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme is on the lookout for young people aged 15 – 17 to join them on a special development programme to help enhance their CV and employability and life skills.

NCS, a government funded programme, is facilitated by the club’s Community Programme and offers young people the chance to enhance their employability and life skills by taking part in a social action project that sees them help the community, develop team work, make friends and enjoy a week’s residential in North Yorkshire.

The programme is looking to find people to fill the last remaining places on this summer’s scheme – a 30 hour social action project - and is encouraging people to apply.

The project will see participants build skills for work and life, while taking on new challenges and adventures, making new friends and contributing to the community.

There are a few remaining spaces for the programme week commencing Monday 20 July and Monday 10 August.
