Having penned a new two-year contract at Hillsborough, Kieran Lee is set to kick on and help the Owls move to the next level.
Lee struck six times for Wednesday in 2014/15 and aims to improve on that goal tally in the coming season.
But first things first, Lee is just delighted to extend his S6 stint.
He told swfc.co.uk: “It was definitely good to get everything done and sorted and now I can look forward to next season.
“Straight after the season had finished, I wanted to get this done early because I wanted to stay here, so I’m delighted.”
On chipping in with vital goals from midfield, Lee continued: “Once I got the first, it gave me that confidence to build on that and keep getting forward to get the chances.
“And as my confidence increased, the goals came.
“In my first season I scored just one goal so it was important that I built and improved on that.
“Hopefully I can get more next year.
“I want to play games, score goals and help the team kick on and improve on last season and see where we can go.”
