Sheffield Wednesday are seeking matchday stewards and turnstile operators for the 2015/16 season.
Mandatory training will be given, with fees rising in accordance with acquiring the relevant qualification, from £30 to £36.
All stewards must qualify to NVQ Level Two standard and be prepared to attend and complete all necessary training sessions.
Training involves two days in the classroom followed by on the job and online assessment. Two training weekends will take place at Hillsborough on 5 and 6 September and 10 and 11 October.
Applicants must be available to attend on both days of either weekend and will be paid a fee for attending training.
There are several stewarding roles to consider and successful applicants will be joining a team of around 300.
A typical matchday will begin with a briefing two hours before kick-off and end when all spectators have left the stadium, with an average shift lasting four and a half hours, including time for signing in.
Turnstile operators normally begin with a briefing two hours before kick-off and end half an hour after kick-off. Inclusive of time for signing in, the fee is £22.50.
On completion of shift, turnstile operators can stay and watch the remainder of each match free of charge (subject to the availability of seats). Full on the job training will be provided.
Successful applicants will be joining a team of around 100 turnstile operators.
All applicants for the above roles should ideally be aged 18 or over.
SWFC are hosting recruitment evenings on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 July at Hillsborough, when interviews will take place.
