Sheffield Wednesday supporter Nick Ward is set to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
He will join a small group of people and climb the 20,000 feet to the peak in just eight days. The challenge starts on Sunday 5 July.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the largest free standing mountain in the world and has extreme changing weather conditions from the bottom to the peak so will be a huge challenge for Nick.
Nick said: “Like many people my family has been affected by heart disease. Charities need all the help they can get, and in doing this challenge I am just doing my part to raise as much money as I can to improve the lives of not just my family but the lives of all heart disease sufferers and their families.”
