In this easy to understand Q&A, we explain the key information on 2015/16 Season Tickets.
Where can I buy a 2015/16 Season Ticket?
You can renew your current Season Ticket or buy a new one online at the Sheffield Wednesday Online Shop, in person at the Owls Megastore or by telephone on 0871 900 1867. Season Tickets are now priced the same online or off.
When is the Early Bird deadline?
Sunday 5 April. All supporters who purchase a Season Ticket by this date are guaranteed to pay the lowest possible price.
Can I buy a Season Ticket from 6 April?
Not immediately. After the Early Bird deadline, Season Ticket sales will cease and we will announce when they go back on sale at a later date.
Will Season Ticket prices change when they are back on sale?
Yes, there will be an increase in price, hence it is beneficial to purchase before the Early Bird deadline to receive the maximum discount.
How long do I have to renew my current seat?
All current Season Ticket holders' seats will remain on reserve until the end of the current campaign. Once the club start reselling Season Tickets during the second phase of sale, we will announce the relevant date for existing seat renewals. This is likely to be mid-June.
What payment options are available?
Supporters can pay at the time of purchase by cash, cheque, credit or debit cards.
We also have two great finance options available to spread the cost of a Season Ticket.
For 2015/16 we are offering a no interest direct debit payment option, with an arrangement fee, over a term of six months or ten months. The arrangement fee is the same as last season which is £20 for the six-month option and £27 for the ten-month option.
Supporters should note that suitability checks are made during the application process.
The club also offers a nine-month interest free credit period when paying with the Owls MasterCard.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment by AMEX.
What is the no interest direct debit payment (arrangement fee applies) option?
This season we have partnered with V12 Retail Finance to offer a no interest direct debit option with an arrangement fee. If a payment is missed and not paid within 14 days, the Season Ticket card may be cancelled, no entry will be allowed into the ground and no refunds will be made on payments made. The no interest payment period offered will depend on the timing of the purchase.
How do I pay the the arrangement fee for no interest direct debit payments?
The arrangement fee is included within your first monthly payment.
What happens if I choose to pay on the no interest direct debit option?
You need to complete your purchase online or in the Owls Megastore. Your application is processed immediately and a decision will be made if you are successful or not after the application. Supporters who apply online can electronically sign their agreement. Supporters who apply in store, once accepted, will have their agreement emailed which they will then need to electronically sign.
What happens if I miss a payment?
V12 Retail Finance will contact you to arrange an alternative form of payment. If you are unable to pay within 14 days, your Season Ticket card may be cancelled and no refunds will be due. Your card cannot at this point be reactivated. Prior to this, our partners will always attempt to call you and send you a letter to advise that your payment has failed and how to make an alternative payment.
Can I pay off the amount borrowed at any time in full?
Yes. This can be done by contacting V12 Retail Finance to make the necessary arrangements. There is no charge for paying off any outstanding balance early.
What are the full details of the Owls MasterCard option?
Applications can only be completed online at www.owlsmastercard.com. Supporters yet to apply are advised to do so in plenty of time to allow for the card to arrive.
Once you have received and activated your card, you can purchase a 2015/16 Season Ticket with nine months interest free credit providing the transaction is made before 5 April. Visit www.owlsmastercard.com for more information.
