Owls coach Lee Bullen has said Caolan Lavery will continue to get better and better and is a defender’s nightmare.
The striker has featured twice for the Owls since returning from his loan spell at Chesterfield and struck for Wednesday against Rotherham last time out.
Bullen believes the 22-year-old has a promising future ahead and said:
“It’s a made a big difference to him going out and playing games. It’s completely different from Under-21 football.
“The more games he plays, the more he will improve and get better.
“Caolan is still a work in progress but when he turns and starts running at defenders, he’s a nightmare to play against.
“He’s so direct, powerful and quick. Caolan just wants to score goals and you can’t buy that.”
