Our tour around the ground ahead of the 2015/16 Early Bird Season Ticket deadline takes us to the South Stand today.
Often described as the ‘main stand’ at Hillsborough, the South has undergone extensive renovations through the years.
The culmination came when Hillsborough was selected as an elite ground to host Euro ’96 and consequently, the Grandstand was added to the existing build.
Today, the South Stand houses 8,314 seats as well as the directors box, executive boxes and hospitality suites.
The concourse areas are the best and most spacious in the stadium, with giant historical portraits of Wednesday legends adorning the walls.
Prices for 2015/16 Season Tickets in the South Stand are £550 for adults, equating to just £23.91 per game.
Concessions are priced at £310 (£13.48), £100 for under 17s (£4.34) and £50 for under 11s (£2.17).
Supporters should be aware that spaces in the central area of the South Stand are available but limited.
