Dielna relishing Wolves challenge

17 March 2015

Claude Dielna says he is ready to go head to head with Wolves this evening and close friend Bakary Sako.

The Wolves striker has scored 11 goals for Wolves this season and goes into tonight’s clash with the Owls having scored four goals in his last six games.

Dielna is relishing the challenge of facing his fellow countryman and said:

“I’ve known him for a long time, we spoke two weeks ago on Twitter and we will speak again before the game.

“For me he is a good, good player and one of Wolves’ biggest threats. He is a big championship player.

“But I look forward to this. I feel good and I hope we can win the game.

“They have good players but so do we and we have a big chance of winning this game.”

The 27-year-old looks set to partner Tom Lees in central defence at Molineux.

The defender is enjoying the responsibility of playing at the heart of the Owls’ backline and added:

“It’s my preferred position. I enjoy playing with Tom Lees and I think we have a good partnership.

“I feel comfortable in this position and there is more to come from me.”
