Stuart Gray has set his players a challenge of breaking into the play-off picture through the business end of the season.
The head coach was speaking after the Owls won 1-0 at Blackpool on Saturday, with Lewis McGugan’s second half strike proving decisive.
He said: “My glass is always half full and I while it is mathematically possible, I want to go for it, and that is the challenge I have set the players.
“I have told them to keep the belief, keep strong and you never know because football can be a strange old game.
“Credit to them today because we came here to do a job and we did it.
“That is a very difficult surface, you have to keep your focus mentally as well as physically throughout and the players did that.
“I thought we dominated most of the game, it’s another clean sheet and I’m delighted for the fans because this win will make their weekend.
“The support they give us is unbelievable, it was a like a home game for us at times today.”
