Last goodbyes

19 March 2015

This week at Hillsborough, Milan Mandaric left office for the final time but before doing so, the outgoing chairman conducted a round of interviews for the local and national media.

To kick off the media call, Milan spoke live to Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday lunchtime and reflected on his time in football in England, Europe and America.

Having passed control of the club to Dejphon Chansiri, Sheffield Wednesday have entered into a new era and although no longer chairman, Milan was quick to re-enforce his message that he will never step down as a friend of the club and urged supporters to give Mr Chansiri their full support.

On top of discussing his time with Portsmouth and Leicester, the successful chairman spoke in-depth about his time at Hillsborough from beginning to end and also gave a glimpse into what the future may hold.

The video interview has been split up into five parts and available exclusively to Wednesday Player subscribers.
