Sheffield Wednesday have signed coveted Premiership youngster Lloyd Isgrove on an emergency loan deal.
The pacy winger joins the Owls for the remainder of the season.
The 22-year-old is a product of the highly acclaimed Southampton youth academy, responsible for a prolific stream of household names in recent years, including the likes of Gareth Bale, Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana.
Isgrove this week penned a two-year contract extension at St Mary’s ahead of his temporary switch to Hillsborough.
He has played a telling part in the Saints Under-21s this term, helping the team to the final of the Premier League Cup and second spot in the league.
The Wales Under-21 international has made four first team appearances for Southampton this season and is tipped for a big future at senior level.
Isgrove will wear shirt number 27 for the duration of his S6 stay.
