The Owls suffered a double injury blow against Fulham on Saturday.
Both Liam Palmer and Will Keane went off with ankle injuries and left Hillsborough wearing precautionary protective boots.
Head coach Stuart Gray said: “It’s a big blow and it’s bad enough losing one player to injury, never mind two.
“It looks like they both have ankle ligament injuries.
“We are back in tomorrow, I will have a meeting with the medical staff and see how they are.
“It’s too soon to say if they will miss the Wolves game on Tuesday.”
