Reflecting on the Owls’ narrow defeat to Blackburn, Will Keane echoed the thoughts of head coach Stuart Gray.
Gray tagged Wednesday’s first and second half displays as ‘night and day’ and striker Keane insists the team will address those concerns ahead of Saturday’s trip to Blackpool.
He said: “It was frustrating for us because we didn’t come out of the traps quickly enough, it was too little too late.
“We were unfortunate, though, we had a few near misses. They put their bodies on the line and made some great blocks and the one that stood out was the volley from Chris Maguire, that was so close.
“But one of the benefits of the Championship is that games come around very fast. We will analyse the game, learn from where we went wrong and make sure it doesn’t happen again going into the Blackpool game on Saturday.”
