Sheffield Wednesday are encouraging fans to get behind St Luke’s Hospice’s Sheffield Pie Month charity initiative.
The campaign runs until the end of March and encourages you to host your own ‘pie’ event in your workplace, home or your community to help St Luke’s raise the £5.6 million they need this year to carry on caring for patients, their families and friends.
The Sheffield-based charity works to care for people aged 18 and above who have incurable illnesses. They aim to control their symptoms, alleviate pain, and give them the best possible quality of life – all free of charge.
There are three easy steps to get involved in the campaign:
1. Register and invite
Register your event below, and you will be supplied you with your Pie Month materials, including pre-designed invites to either post or email to your friends, family, colleagues or local community.
2. Buy or bake
You can bake your own pies or simply buy them in. You will be provided with tried and trusted great pie recipes and invites to get your friends, family and colleagues excited!
3. Let them eat pie!
Serve your pies and ask your guests to make a donation for the meal.
