During the 2014/15 season Sheffield Wednesday supported around 20 charities through special matchday partnerships with thousands of pounds being raised through bucket collections.
Organisations supported include; Prostate Cancer UK, Cardiac Risk in the Young, The Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, Weston Park Cancer Hospital Charity, The Eden Dora Trust and The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The club aims to be as accommodating as possible on matchday by giving the charities great exposure. This not only means the organisation can raise funds but also increase awareness of what they do.
