Atdhe Nuhiu was delighted to strike a late equaliser at Vicarage Road to earn Wednesday a point on the last day of the term.
Watford were just moments away from sealing the league title but Nuhiu scored in stoppage time in front of the ecstatic visiting supporters behind the goal.
After the dramatic contest, Nuhiu told the Owls’ official website: “We never give up as a team and I will never give up as a player.
“While ever we are on the pitch, we will always believe and never give up. That is my character as a player and our character as a team.
“That goal was for everyone; the staff, the players, the fans and everyone connected to the club.
“We are all together as one and we move forward together.
“It was a difficult game, Watford have a lot of quality but we hung in there and that goal sums up our spirit and I was happy to score it.”
