Owls announce third advisor appointment

Sheffield Wednesday are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Senior as a third advisor to the chairman, Dejphon Chansiri.


Senior will take up his post with immediate effect and supplement the innovative Sporting Director committee recently installed at the club, consisting of advisors Adam Pearson and Glenn Roeder and head coach Stuart Gray.

Senior has previously worked for Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic in a number of operational and strategic roles.

He has worked both domestically and internationally in the player recruitment industry having established scouting networks in over 80 countries.

Sheffield Wednesday chairman Dejphon Chansiri said: “I would like to officially welcome Paul to Hillsborough and I am delighted to bring on board such an outstanding football individual.

“His achievements in the game speak for themselves and his knowledge will significantly enhance our off-field operation.

“Paul will focus on a clear role of responsibility alongside Adam, Glenn and Stuart as my vision for our club continues to evolve.

“It is imperative for the short, medium and long term success of Sheffield Wednesday that I surround myself with football industry professionals with defined expertise and Paul fits that remit to the letter.”
