The Owls’ Under-18s returned to winning ways with a convincing away success at Coventry.
Goals from Freddie Tracey, Connor O’Grady and Jordan Lonchar sealed all three points and saw Wednesday return to similar form that punctuated their excellent start to the 2015/16 campaign.
Coach Steven Haslam told swfc.co.uk: “We had a great start to the season but we told the players that there would be downs as well as the ups.
“That’s when you build your character as a young footballer, how you react when the chips are down.
“They have taken the message on board and put in a very composed and solid performance against Coventry on Saturday.
“We’re back to winning ways and that is really important, so well done to the players for the way they have responded to back to back defeats.”
The Under-18s are next in action this coming Saturday, 14 November, when they host Huddersfield at Middlewood Road (11.00am).
