Barry Bannan is a contender to win the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for October.
The energetic midfield man has hit the ground running since his switch to Wednesday in September and made a fine contribution to the Owls’ unbeaten October.
Such was the 25-year-old’s impact last month, he was chosen as the swfc.co.uk Player of the Month – gaining thousands of votes from Wednesdayites.
Bannan face competition from Andre Gray (Burnley), Alan Judge (Brentford) and Paul Robinson (Birmingham) for the award.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
