Desperate to reverse their current run in the Championship, Atdhe Nuhiu says he expects Charlton to fight for every inch on Saturday.
The Addicks have gone 12 games without a win and have lost their last five Championship fixtures, conceding 11 goals.
With this being the final game before the international break, Nuhiu wants Wednesday’s impressive run of unbeaten games to continue but is wary of Charlton’s threat.
“We want to try to do our best for every game and try to get a good result,” he said.
“Charlton is always a difficult place to go, every game is tough in this league but we are concentrated and want to go into the international break with happiness.
“They are fighting for every possibility to get a point or a win. They need that. They will try to fight for every centimetre that they find.”
Victory this weekend could see the Owls break into the top six and Nuhiu says that would serve as a huge boost going into the break.
He added: “We have got many players here now with a lot of quality and if you are to go where you want to go, then you need these players and a squad like this.
“We have that now and the results are there to see. You can put any player in the starting eleven and he will perform as good as the guy who is playing at the moment, for example.”
