With the next international break around the corner, head coach Carlos Carvalhal wants to ensure the Owls finish this period ‘in good condition’.
Wednesday haven’t tasted defeat since way back in September and face Charlton on Saturday before heading into the break.
By contrast, Charlton have struggled in the Sky Bet Championship this season and have slipped into the bottom three after a run of 12 without a win.
Carvalhal said: “We know that Charlton are not in a good position in this moment but when a team is not in a good position, they can be a dangerous team.
“Of course they want to change things, the have changed their coach in the last weeks, they will try their best and it’s a good challenge to them because we are unbeaten in 11 games.
“We must be alert and understand that it will not be an easy game. It will be difficult but we will be ready for this because our team, all the time, take all the games very seriously.”
He continued: “We’ll fight to the three points and we want to finalise this period before the break in good condition.”
