Back in late August, the official SWFC Facebook page ran a competition to win a signed shirt from loan recruit Michael Turner.
Supporters simply had to comment under the competition post explaining why the shirt should belong to them and we received some fantastic responses!
But the one that caught the eye was a post from Matthew Turner!
The Wednesdayite was keen to bag the shirt for his son, quite appropriately named Michael Turner!
Dad Matthew was delighted to receive the news his son would be the proud recipient of the signed shirt and the presentation took place upon the family’s visit to Hillsborough last weekend.
He said: “I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you Michael Turner and all at the club for making Saturday possible.
“Everyone went the extra mile to make the shirt presentation an experience we will remember for years to come.
“Michael especially was great and baby Michael seemed quite taken with him!
“Not to mention the result as well! Needless to say we left Hillsborough in a dreamlike state!”
