Owls stars Jack Hunt, Barry Bannan and Tom Lees last week visited the club’s Community Programme’s Soccer Camps to share some of their expertise and experience with the youngsters.
The camps, aimed at children aged 5 -14, run every school holiday and are put in place to help inspire and motivate young people through football.
Children asked the players about playing football, what team they support and what they were like when they were their age.
The camps are an ideal way to introduce children to playing football or create a pathway to progress onto higher levels of play.
Boys and girls aged five – 14 are able to develop skills, technique and their standard of play.
The camps take place at the club’s Middlewood training ground in Hillsborough and at Retford Oaks High School.
