Keiren Westwood has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad with an ankle injury.
The Wednesday goalkeeper was selected in the final squad for the Euro 2016 play-off qualifier over two legs with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
With a place in the tournament at stake, the Republic are set to travel to Zenica for the opening game on Friday, before playing the second leg in Dublin on Monday.
A minor ankle injury suffered in training will see Westwood play no further part for the Republic over the next two weeks.
The 31-year-old will now return to Hillsborough but is expected to make a recovery in time for the Owls’ Sky Bet Championship clash against Huddersfield after the break.
