Owls scholar Josh Stachini is currently enjoying time on the international stage with Northern Ireland Under-19s.
The youngsters are taking part in a European Championship qualifying round in Russia.
Northern Ireland will face three stern tests in total, the first of which has already been played.
The 17-year-old featured for just over 80 minutes in his country’s 2-1 win over Norway on Thursday.
Next up for Northern Ireland is a clash against hosts Russia on Friday, followed by the final fixture against Slovakia on Monday.
Academy coach Steven Haslam said: “This experience will be fantastic for Josh and it’s great for him to earn international recognition.
“The experience will be beneficial for his development and we’ll be keeping a close eye on his progress with Northern Ireland.”
