A point was the right result said head coach Carlos Carvalhal after the Owls’ 1-1 draw with Hull City.
Wednesday went into half time 1-0 after a goal from Fernando Forestieri but the Tigers pulled back an equaliser early into the second half through Abel Hernandez.
Carvalhal said: “I feel we deserved to take the lead as we were the better team in the first half.
“In the second half Hull played better and overall a draw was a fair score, and I am happy with the point as they are one of the best teams in the division.
“If we play this well against this team then we can play the same against anyone and get good results and talk about the points after the game.”
The Owls will face QPR on Tuesday night and Rotherham on Friday in the Championship but Carvalhal has no issue with the busy schedule ahead.
He added: “If the other teams are playing the same amount of games as us then that is fantastic.
“When I managed Besiktas I was unhappy with the schedule as we played more games in a shorter time to other teams, but here it is well organised and fair for every team.”
