Back the boys this weekend!

Attention turns back to the Championship after a phenomenal night in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday evening.

Wednesday’s unbeaten run extended to nine games after knocking Premier League side Arsenal out of the competition on Tuesday evening.

Over 35,000 supporters witnessed the 3-0 victory over the Gunners in midweek and the Owls return to Hillsborough on Saturday for the visit of Nottingham Forest.

Ahead of the victory over Arsenal that saw Wednesday advance into the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup, the club announced the signing of loan striker Gary Hooper.

The former Celtic man could make his debut this weekend, providing the Owls with further options in the attack.

During the pre-match press conference on Thursday, head coach Carlos Carvalhal said:

“Our focus is only on Nottingham Forest, it will be a difficult game and we will need our fans there to help the players.



“We are happy to be at home and feel the atmosphere of our fans and the energy that they give the team.”

Ticket prices for Saturday’s game start from £25 for adult Members on the Kop and junior Owls under 11s are just £7 in any area of the ground.
