Former Wednesday striker Stevie May is excited for his return to Hillsborough with new club Preston.
The Scottish international signed for the Lilywhites from the Owls on transfer deadline day.
May has made four appearances for North End since his summer switch and ahead of their trip to S6 this weekend, he said:
“I didn’t have to wait too long for this game to come around.
“It is exciting going back. It will be a tough game and a good test, because they have picked up quite a bit recently.
“They have a lot of good players in the squad, but if we can play as well as we have done at times, and be resolute, it will be an interesting game and one where we will aim to pick up points from.
“There were a lot of changes made in the summer, with a lot of new faces brought in.
“They will cause problems but we need to focus on us, how we play and how we go about getting the result.”
May continued: “There are a good few of us who have played there and we are all looking forward to it.
“It is a good prospect to go back and play at somewhere you have been before.
“They will be in good spirits from the recent results they had and it should be a good fixture.”
