Owls ace Fernando Forestieri is in a shortlist of three to win the Sky Bet Championship PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October.
The 25-year-old was one of 12 candidates in the running but that 12 has been whittled down to three.
Also in the running are Brentford’s Alan Judge and Derby’s Chris Martin.
Forestieri has made an instant impact at Hillsborough with three goals in seven appearances.
The award could potentially be heading to Hillsborough for a second consecutive month after winger Ross Wallace scooped the gong for September.
