Tom Lees says he has enjoyed the central defensive partnership he has struck with Michael Turner.
Turner, who has signed at Hillsborough on season-long loan from Norwich, has slotted seamlessly into the Owls’ backline.
After five appearances and one goal, Lees has been impressed with the quality of the former Sunderland man.
“When I turn to look left, I think I am going to guess right where he is going to be.
“I’ve really enjoyed playing with Turner and he has played really well since coming in.”
He continued: “He is quite similar to Glenn in that they are both really experienced defenders.
Glenn is a good player so to keep him out shows how well he has done.
“You know what you are going to get from them as defenders nine times out of 10 and that’s quite reassuring.
“It’s good to know we have competition there and that keeps everybody on their toes.”
