The UK’s largest independent toy retailer, The Entertainer, has donated a selection of toys to our Junior fans to enjoy on matchdays.
The toys, which have been donated to Ollie’s Kidzone in the Grandstand, include a Twister dance game, an air hockey table, table football and a selection of puzzles.
The Entertainer group operates 104 stores and the Sheffield branches can be found on The Moor in the Sheffield City Centre and in Meadowhall.
Rebecca Rees, Head of Marketing & Licensing, said: “The Entertainer are proud to donate these toys to the Sheffield Wednesday Kids Zone for the enjoyment of children and families to use. It’s great to be able to be involved in the community in this way and to have an opportunity to bring some more fun in to the kid’s zone.”
The kid’s zone is ideally situated in the family stand and is open before the match and at half-time for children to enjoy. Other than toys, Junior Owls can enjoy face painting and Nintendo Wii games which are all overseen by Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme staff.
