As SWFC continue to widen the club’s channels of communication, we are pleased to announce the imminent formation of a brand new Supporter Steering Group.
The party will meet with senior club officials – and chairman Dejphon Chansiri where possible – on a quarterly basis, with the ethos of the initiative a regular, two-way level of communication.
As much as the forums will serve as an opportunity for the group to present questions to the club, of equal pertinence is the Owls’ ability to present questions to the group to garner feedback and market research.
Popular online fans’ websites will be represented, together with SODA, select supporter organisations, club historians, one Season Ticket holder from each home stand of Hillsborough and one away Season Ticket holder.
Consequently, we are looking to recruit one Season Ticket holder from the Kop, South Stand, North Stand and Family Stand plus one away Season Ticket holder to join the group.

The meetings will be chaired by the club’s Chief Operating Officer Paul Bell and Director of Communications Trevor Braithwait, who said:
“We have long since prided ourselves on our level of supporter communication, more recently with the hugely successful fans’ forums of Vice Chairman Paul Aldridge.
“We now wish to escalate that communication to the next level with the formation of the Supporter Steering Group, which will offer the perfect means of two-way feedback.
“Engaging with supporters on a regular basis is high on the agenda of the Football League and indeed the Government, which fits perfectly into the ethos of Mr Chansiri and Sheffield Wednesday.”
The first meeting of the Supporter Steering Group will be scheduled for early November, with further details announced in due course.
