Wednesday’s latest addition to the squad Gary Hooper says he is raring to go.
The striker has signed on loan from Premier League side Norwich until January and is itching to get started.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash with Nottingham Forest, in which Hooper could make his debut, he told swfc.co.uk:
“It’s nice to be here. I’ve been training with the boys and it’s been good. They are a good bunch of lads and training has been at a high intensity.
“I was impressed on Tuesday watching from the stands and I thought we played well. We scored three goals and the crowd went crazy so it was a good win.
“We’ve got a hard game against stoke in the next round but the main focus is Saturday against Forest.”
Hooper, who has featured twice for Norwich this season in the Premier League, continued:
“I’ve come here to play games and score goals but the main thing is to help the team win games to keep climbing the table.
“I’m raring to go, I want to play football and score goals.”
