The Sky’s the limit!

14 October 2015

Atdhe Nuhiu has revealed his excitement regarding the forthcoming fixtures in October.

Three of the Owls’ next five games this month will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and the towering striker is revelling in that prospect.

Wednesday will face Hull and Rotherham in the Championship on Sky and then host Arsenal in the Capital One Cup live in front of the nation.

Looking forward to this busy period, he said: “When I used to play in Europe, the games were always on television and I like this.

“Since I moved to England, I found it strange that not every game is shown but we enjoy every Sky game that we have.

“We are playing well as a team and it’s a chance for us to show the world what we are capable of in these big matches.”

The Owls return to action this weekend after the international break with a clash against Hull (12.30pm).

This fixture kick-starts a busy period of seven games before the next break in November and Nuhiu says it’s important Wednesday pick up where they left off.

“It’s a very big month and period up until the next international break and we have some very important games coming up.

“We have to pick up where we left off, remain concentrated and collect as many points as we can in that period to climb the table.”
