The Owls confirmed the permanent addition of Lee Bullen to the first team coaching staff this week at Hillsborough.
Carlos Carvalhal has said the former Wednesday skipper is an important piece of the puzzle and will now continue his duties as first team assistant coach.
Over the past two seasons, Bullen has managed his time between Under-21s and first team commitments and of the ex-Owls defender, Carlos said:
“There is nothing changed, he just signed a bit of paper.
“He is doing exactly what he did since the beginning, he is experienced here, he played for Sheffield Wednesday and is a very important coach here.
“First thing is that he is a good guy, a good person and I’m very happy with him. He knows football and this division very well and he is very important for the future.
“I am very happy with all the people who work with me at the club and we are doing very good teamwork.”
