Westfield Health extends Owls partnership

8 October 2015

Sheffield Wednesday are delighted to announce that Westfield Health has extended its long-standing partnership with the club for a further season and into its 20th year.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Westfield Health will become the Official Disabled Enclosure Partner of Sheffield Wednesday, receiving extended profiling at Hillsborough and across the Owls’ thriving digital platforms.

Westfield Health is a not for profit health insurance company formed almost a century ago and one of the largest businesses based in Sheffield, boasting over 400,000 customers.

Sheffield Wednesday’s Chief Operating Officer Paul Bell said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Westfield Health for a further season.

“Westfield Health is one of the most high profile health insurance providers in the UK and our relationship has grown from strength to strength.

“The new agreement will see the Westfield Health brand visible inside the stadium and across more of the club’s marketing platforms than ever before.”

Paul Shires, Executive Director, Sales and Marketing at Westfield Health, said: “We’re very pleased to announce our continued partnership with Sheffield Wednesday for a 20th year.

“As a proud Sheffield company, the sponsorship of the enclosures for the disabled is part of our commitment to reach out and support our local community. At the same time the partnership is an example of how we value long lasting relationships.

“At Westfield Health, we work hard to ensure our customers stay healthy, and with the Owls we will be identifying opportunities to promote health and wellbeing initiatives across the community.”

Westfield Health helps its customers and community to be at their healthy best and through the company’s charitable donations it supports the NHS and medically related charities.
