Fernando Forestieri says his former Watford team mate Daniel Pudil is a hugely important player for the Owls.
The ex-Hornets duo spent three seasons together at Vicarage Road before moving to Wednesday and Forestieri knows the value of the experienced left back.
The coveted forward, who is in line to make his debut for the club this weekend at Burnley, says the Owls have a big asset in Pudil.
Of the 29-year-old, he commented: “I played three seasons with him at Watford and for me, he is one important player.
“When I train against him and try to dribble past him, it’s not easy and if I do, then I need to do it again because he gets back so fast and works so hard.
“He’s always getting up and down the pitch so for me, he is a very important player.”
Forestieri added: “We have a good squad of players here who have been very friendly to me and welcomed me to the team and I feel very comfortable here.”
