More than 400 children have practiced and shown off their football skills this summer at the club’s Community Programme Soccer Camps.
The camps, held at the Hillsborough Sports Arena and Retford Oaks High School, saw children aged 5-14 develop skills, technique and standard of play in a fun and relaxed environment.
The fully qualified coaches ran a range of football drills, fun games and mini tournaments to deliver a top football package for the youngsters.
At the end of each day the young players also enjoyed a presentation session that would see who the coaches had determined as the player of the day, player of the week and the winning team.
Matt Bray, Social Inclusion Manager for the Community Programme, said: “The camps are a great way for young kids to get involved in football and as an introduction into getting active. We’ve seen some good talent over the summer and we hope to see many back in October for the half-term camp!”
Thanks to everyone who attended!
