Home comforts for Wednesday

14 April 2016

The Owls return to home soil on Saturday following defeat on the road against Bristol City last time out.

Ipswich are the visitors to Hillsborough, with Mick McCarthy’s men in search of a much-needed win to keep in touch with the play-off picture.

Wednesday, meanwhile, are ensconced in that coveted top six and out to extend their impressive pedigree in S6 this term – which is completely converse to last season.

At the end of 2014/15 Wednesday were the lowest home goalscorers in the Championship – but fast forward almost 12 months and the Owls have rocketed straight to the top of the pile.

No team in the division can better Wednesday’s total of 38 strikes so far, continuing the remarkable turnaround under head coach Carlos Carvalhal.

As ever, we need your support, and tickets for the Owls v Ipswich are on sale now in person, at the Sheffield Wednesday Online Shop or by telephone on 03700 201867.

Supporters are advised to book their seats in advance.

See you there!
