With another round of fixtures down and the five-point gap to seventh still in place, Lucas Joao says the Owls will continue to work hard and edge closer to securing a play-off spot.
Full focus is now on the midweek clash with relegation-threatened MK Dons and looking ahead to the game, Joao said:
“We take it game by game and that is the best way for us. We want to finish in the play-offs and we are still five points clear.
"We are in sixth place and have worked hard as a team to be where we are. It has been a good season for the club and we just want to finish it off well.”
MK Dons will arrive at Hillsborough nine points adrift of safety and ahead of the game Joao continued:
“We are working hard to achieve big things this season and the most important is that we do our best.
"Our team doesn't give up. We work hard and we just need to keep focusing on our objectives.
"We try to win every game and we have another opportunity on Tuesday to get three points.”
