Nothing has changed

1 April 2016

The Owls are very much in the thick of things in the Sky Bet Championship’s top six but for Carlos Carvalhal, nothing has changed regarding his side’s approach and preparation for games.

Wednesday head to Huddersfield in sixth position, three points clear of Cardiff in seventh with eight games to go.

Carvalhal has again stressed the importance of focus on the next game, as he has done all season long.

“Nothing has changed from the past one month, two months or three months,” he said.

“As coach, it’s absolutely the same to me with focus on the next game.

“We will not do anything different to what we have done in the past, nothing has changed it is absolutely the same.

“We continue with the process, try to improve the team, try to play quality football, try to show everybody we play good football in all the stadiums and most importantly, try to win all the games.”

With that in mind Huddersfield is the next test for the Owls, who are aiming for a third win on the bounce after successive 3-0 victories over Nottingham Forest and Charlton.

Carlos continued: “We have a very tough month with seven games but this is nothing new, we have done this in the past.

“We have ambition to do our best but at the same time we are completely focused on the next game.

“The game against Huddersfield is the most important game of our lives because it’s the next one.

“We are focused on this game, the questions around our situation and what the team can achieve in the future is not important to us because we know we must look to the process to achieve something.”
