Owls set new club record

4 April 2016

As the Owls defeated Huddersfield Town on Saturday, a new club record was set in the process.

The 1-0 win at the John Smith’s Stadium was the Owls’ fourth consecutive league clean sheet on the road.

For the first time in the club’s history, Wednesday have not conceded away from home for four successive games, which included goalless draws at Brighton and Hull as well as victories over Nottingham Forest (3-0) and the Terriers.

The total shutouts for the Owls in the Championship this season now stands at 15, only two shy of the overall record that was equalled last season.
