On Sunday 21 April 1991, the Owls stunned Manchester United to lift the Rumbelows Cup at Wembley Stadium.
Of course that wasn’t the only success for Wednesday in that campaign as Ron Atkinson’s side went on to secure promotion back to the First Division.
Almost 25 years on, together with the SWFC Community Programme, there will be a special evening this Thursday at The MAGNA Science and Adventure centre to remember and look back at those memorable moments along the way.
The star-filled night - hosted by Sky Sports News HQ presenter and Community Programme ambassador David Garrido - will re-unite the S6 legends central to the season that ended in the Owls lifting the League Cup before sealing promotion back to the top tier.
