Tom Lees has been nominated by the Football League to win the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for March.
The defender was part of a strong defensive unit that conceded just one goal during the month and helped Wednesday on their way to a new club record of four consecutive clean sheets on the road.
Lees faces competition from Mirco Antenucci, Lee Frecklington and Sam Vokes.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
The Football League said of Lees via their official website: “The heartbeat of a Wednesday defence which conceded just a single goal in four March games. Positionally aware, a timer of tackles and a fine reader of play, he also proved his value at corners with a headed opener against Charlton Athletic.”
