The Owls strengthened their grip on a play-off spot on Tuesday evening after victory over Blackburn at Hillsborough.
With six games to go, Wednesday are well positioned in fifth spot and high on confidence after four straight wins.
But for Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month contender Tom Lees, the only thing on his mind is Saturday’s clash with Bristol City.
The experienced defender wants no slip-ups in the run-in and he said:
“You can’t get too carried away because one loss or a drop of points can change everything and there will probably be quite a few twists and turns before the end of the season.
“We just know we have got to literally focus on each game and that’s all we can control really.
“We’ve put a lot into our squad, improved a lot and I think a lot of people will be looking at us now.
“I think there is a lot of expectation. We as players and the staff as well, expect to do well because we know what we have got in our squad and we know what we are capable of.
“We put that pressure on ourselves, we don’t go into games under pressure or nervous, it’s just that we have got high standards.”
