Carlos Carvalhal has tipped Norwich as a promotion favourite ahead of the Owls’ trip to Carrow Road on Saturday.
The live Sky TV clash unfolds in Norfolk at 5.30pm and the Wednesday head coach expects a testing time for his side.
He said: “Are Norwich the favourites? Of course, because they came down from the Premier League and will be favourites to go back up also.
“Norwich are one of the strongest teams in the competition, with some very good players from the Premier League.
“They are stronger for sure than most of the other teams in the Championship.”
On the flip side, Carvalhal underlined that Norwich too will face a tough test against a Wednesday side high on confidence themselves following the opening day win over Aston Villa.
He added: “They are a very good side and very well organised and will be confident I am sure after winning well at Blackburn last Saturday.
“But from our side, we are not an easy team to play, absolutely sure, we are a difficult team to play against so I think this will be an interesting game.”
