Wednesday are set for a hectic week with three Championship fixtures in the space of seven days but for Carlos Carvalhal, this period is one to look forward to.
Beginning with a trip to Reading on Saturday, the Owls will then feature in two South Yorkshire derbies, hosting Barnsley in midweek and Rotherham at the weekend.
“It’s good, it’s something we like and I must tell you we have missed it,” Carlos explained.
“In November, when we just played three games, it was boring!
“You have the adrenaline running through your body and you need that, you need the games, you miss the games, you miss that emotion.
“Even when after playing six or seven games in a short time, you are exhausted but I like that.
“I prefer this kind of stress, the preparing of the games, talking with my staff, I’m happy and I’m looking forward to the games.”
He added: “Come the games, come the fans, come the goals, it’s what I like and I’m looking forward to it.”
