Call for consistency

9 December 2016

Wednesday right back Jack Hunt has urged his teammates to build on the good run of recent results in the Championship.

The Owls travel to Reading this Saturday on the back of an unbeaten run in the last three games.

Hunt feels it’s vital that Wednesday remain consistent and keep the points tally ticking over in this crucial Christmas period.

He said: “We just go game by game, that’s what the manager has drilled into us.

“In the last three games, we have been very consistent and have found a way that suits us.

“So, when things like that go on, you want to just keep it going.”

With three games in the space of seven days, starting with the trip to Reading trip, followed by back to back home games against Barnsley and Rotherham, Hunt is looking forward to the period ahead.

He reasoned: “In the last three games, we have put ourselves into a reasonable position in the league.

“So we have got a great opportunity now, especially with two home games, to be able to kick on and get some more points on the board.”
